Networking at NEVA 2011
In September PALFINGER MARINE presented its products at the NEVA 2011, the international shipping, shipbuilding and offshore energy exhibition in St. Petersburg.
Accordingly to the fairs central theme “international maritime cooperation” PALFINGER MARINE took the chance to socialize and to build up co-operations.
“We consider NEVA 2011 as a great success”, said Andrei Bugrim from SBS Ltd., the Russian distributor of PALFINGER MARINE. New ideas arose from talks with shipyards and naval architects and new projects were initiated. The pleasant atmosphere and qualified advice at the 25 m² booth of SBS Ltd. and PALFINGER MARINE attracted many exhibition visitors. These took a lively interest in the presented marine crane PFM 3500, which is designed to lift extremely heavy loads.
20th anniversary
This year NEVA celebrated its 20th anniversary. Since 1991 leading companies of the marine industry have been meeting at the exhibition biennially. This year’s record of 700 exhibitors from 50 countries, 1,500 exhibiting companies, 450 conference participants and about 25,000 visitors made the four-day event a great success.
